miDiagnostics is at the forefront of releasing its first product, an ultra-fast PCR test, into the market. To enable this market introduction and the rapid international growth ambitions of the company, we are looking to strengthen our Sales team with a Sales Executive. 

As our Sales Executive, you will hunt for clients, establish strong relationships and build out the future client portfolio of miDiagnostics. You will report to the Business Development & Sales Manager.

We are looking for Sales Executives for the EMEA market (Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, UK…), the Middle-East (Singapore, Dubai) and the US.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • You demonstrate in-depth knowledge of how to create a compelling story and rationale for the value of the miDiagnostics product and future product portfolio and how to position our company brand versus our competition in the market;
  • You are responsible to build up the client portfolio within your geographical territory, you hunt for new clients and close commercial deals;
  • You are the primary point of contact for our customers; you meet with customers, understand their needs, their business model and key influencers;
  • You are able to define qualitative short and long term account plans;
  • You meet and exceed the annual sales targets for your territory;
  • You work closely with the internal miDiagnostics marketing and the development teams providing real-time feedback from customers and trends in the market to ensure continuous improvement of our products;
  • You represent miDiagnostics at internal and external sales events, conferences…

Job requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, Business or equivalent;
  • Min 5-7 years of proven successful sales experience in an international context, preferably in the diagnostics industry;
  • Experience hunting and penetrating new accounts and relationships;
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills;
  • Effective decision making skills;
  • Master consultative selling skills;
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills;
  • Highly customer-centric with a strong business acumen;
  • Result-oriented, strives to achieve targets;
  • Self-starter that thrives in a scale-up environment;
  • Product launch experience is a plus;
  • A true team player with strong external and internal stakeholder management skills;
  • An agile mindset: pro-active, ability to work in a high-paced and changing environment, flexibility to move and support the business as needed
  • Our offices are located in Leuven (Belgium). This role can be a remote position, with travel to customer accounts in the assigned territory.
