miDiagnostics is at the forefront of releasing its first product, an ultra-fast PCR test, into the market. This market introduction means rapid organization scaling and supporting the international growth ambitions of the company, therefore a seasoned Supply Chain Manager is required. As our Supply Chain Manager, you will report to the VP Supply Chain & Manufacturing.


You will be a crucial player in building out our customer service and logistics supply chain activities now that we are moving from a research focused organization into a commercial organization.


The Supply Chain Manager is able to manage complex situation within significant development and change management dimension, through collaborative effort and also with hands-on activities when necessary, deploying a good balance of strategic thinking and tactical approach with prioritization on tasks under dynamic business, manufacturing footprint, and market development environment.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for Customer Service, Warehousing, Transportation and Trade Compliance activities. Drive process maturity and ensure appropriate processes, parameters and systems are in place to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Closely partner with the commercial organization to implement effortless and personalized customer experience through constant innovation and efficient solution.
  • Effectively partner with manufacturing, Ext Operation, demand/supply planning to ensure smooth and timely delivery to customers.
  • Manage all commercial and contractual discussions with 3rd Party Logistic, Customs Broker Partners, drive operational performance and continuous cost improvements.
  • Resolve problems and issues with order flow, shipping delays, quality issues as well as day-to-day concerns with warehouse capacity and customer deadlines.
  • Act as program manager for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization, develop strategies to drive operational and performance excellence, coordinate new product launches as well as build appropriate KPIs.
  • Understand business, market and customer requirements to develop, prioritize and implement agile, scalable, cost effective and customer centric solutions.
  • Exercise a significant level of independent judgment and execution which directly impacts the operational results.
  • Building effective relationships and partnering cross-functionally to develop solutions to a variety of problems.

Job requirements

  • Bachelors' or Masters’ degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent;
  • Min. 7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics and customer service management, preferably in Life Sciences or the Diagnostics industry;
  • Financial analysis and analytical experience and capabilities highly desirables;
  • Strong management/negotiation skills for supplier business relations;
  • Project Management experience including standard methodology of Gantt chart, project steerco lead or support, and associated action plan management are a strong asset;
  • Analytical and problem solving mindset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship builder;
  • You thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment, you are a real entrepreneur;
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with experience managing multiple initiatives at one time;
  • You appreciate working in an open space amongst enthusiastic, multidisciplinary and international colleagues;
  • Excellent oral and written English skills;
  • You are a team-player and foster strong collaborations;
  • Strong Stakeholders management and people Leadership experience, with track records of managing teams in transformation and change management, in dynamic, multicultural, and global matrix environment;
  • Our offices are located in Leuven (Belgium). Relocation to Belgium is needed. It is essential that you hold entitlement to work and live in Belgium.
